P4 Class of 2012-2013
100th Day of school
Children really enjoyed this fast moving game of finding 100 things from the classroom to fit in the tub! A great way to mark the 100th day of school this year!
Kung Hey Fat Choy! (Happy New Year!)
As part of our topic on Celebrations, we learnt about Chinese New Year. The children planned their own party to celebrate! We played Chinese Whispers, ate party food, made Chinese lanterns and everyone got to take home a special 'Hong Bao' envelope with a treat inside.
During our trip to Castle Espie, we learnt about Brent Geese and the journey they make to Northern Ireland from Arctic Canada. We also learnt about feathers and fed different birds at the lake!
Jamie and Faith with Adam from RSPB who spoke to us about Red Kites. Tonagh Primary have adopted a Red Kite called Troy and this year she had a son known as Red 360!
P4 enjoyed a trip to Lisburn Library. We learnt about different types of books and listened to stories!
